🟒 Stock/Modified (Mods) Classifications

  • Stock – A Mainline Diecast vehicle that has not been modified (See Mods). These vehicles can be β€œtuned up” (lubed axles, sanded tires) or as-is straight from a package. Premium Diecast vehicles do not qualify for stock races (IE: M2 machines or any rubber wheels).
  • Mods – A Diecast vehicle that has had been altered from its factory condition, including but not limited to: shell cracked, weight added/removed, and wheel swaps. Any vehicle with its rivets drilled will be considered modified. There are three classifications for Mod Races.
    • Light Class – Vehicle weight equal to or less than 54 grams.
    • Heavy Class – Vehicle weight is more than 54 grams, up to 100 grams.
    • Open Class – Anything weight is permitted, so long as the vehicle is 1:64 scale.
  • Stock Races will be assigned a Theme – Please adhere to it and ask if you are in doubt.
  • Mod Races will be assigned a Classification which will be verified.

🟒 Heads Up Drag Rules/Guidelines

  • 2 or 6 vehicles run the downhill β€œdrag strip.”
  • The best 2 of 3 heats advances to the next round.
  • Lane Position is rotated each heat.
  • Single Elimination by default, but speical event may be Double Elimination

🟒 Curvature of the Spine Rules/Guidelines

  • 2 – 4 vehicles can run per heat.
  • 1 heat for each vehicle (4 vehicles = 4 heats).
  • Lane Position is rotated each heat.
  • The Points system is based on the number of heats.
    • 4 Heats: 1st – 5; 2nd – 3; 3rd – 2; 4th – 1; DNF – 0
    • 3 Heats: 1st – 4; 2nd – 2; 3rd – 1; DNF – 0
    • 2 Heats: 1st – 3; 2nd – 1; DNF – 0
